What is this workshop about?
Several countries recognize loneliness as a significant public health problem. However, despite its widespread impact, loneliness remains a topic that we often avoid discussing or even acknowledging.
In this workshop, we will explore the essence of loneliness, its causes, and its effects. We will discuss the incredible power of connecting with others and the importance of relationships in combating loneliness. "What if I feel lonely? What if I see someone I care about withdrawing and isolating themselves? How did I get here? What about now? What can I do?" These are some of the questions we will answer in this workshop, broadening our understanding of how to prevent and intervene in the barriers to social connection.
